Third Culture Kids
A community for those of us who were born somewhere, grew up somewhere else, and now live somewhere else.
“Where are you from?”
Like you, we dread this question. Is it where we were born? Where we grew up? Where we spent most of our time?
We are a group of 3 sisters who grew up outside India, lived in India for a few years, lived outside India for a few years, and then finally all moved to Canada. Our adventures have taken us across the world from Lusaka to Singapore, London, New Delhi, New York, Bangalore, Vancouver, and finally, Toronto.
We know what it’s like to try and fit in because we look different. We know it’s not easy to amalgamate all the cultures we’ve been exposed to. We’re here to help build a community that can be more open about Third-Culture-Kid experiences and how we can navigate them even as adults and for future generations.

MostlyDesi
MostlyDesi
MostlyDesi is a community we aim to build for Desi immigrants struggling with finding their community in a new place.
The idea is that as immigrants, there are things we do outside India that don’t make sense to people back in India, and there things we do that don’t make sense to the people in the West.
We are trying to bring these like-minded people with two feet in two different places through events, an online community, and more.
